Ruchi Singh Parihar (she/her) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science and an Affiliated Associate of the Centre for Landscapes, Wildlife and Marine Ecology at CHRIST University, Bengaluru. She received her Ph.D. in Climate Change and Health, She served as a Visiting Scholar at the Earth Systems Science and Engineering program at KAUST Saudi Arabia and The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) Italy. Prior to Christ University, She was an Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the IBS, Center for Climate Physics, Busan, South Korea. Dr. Parihar research focuses on the intersection of Climate Change, Air pollution, and Human health, Sustainability, Statistical/Mathematical Modeling. Her work involves applying multidisciplinary approaches in climate and air pollution sciences, exposure assessment, and environmental epidemiology to investigate how climate change may impact human health. Much of this work has been done in India, Europe, and Africa.
